   OB TITLE: Maintenance Technician-Part Time MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years experience in the home repair and maintenance field. Person must have basic skills in plumbing, electrical work, painting, lawn care and carpentry. Must have a valid NYS driver’s license, a driving record acceptable to the TSA Automotive Program and be willing and able to safely perform driving responsibilities as assigned. PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess the ability to organize, perform and complete physical maintenance tasks. Must be able to function as a team member and adjust to task schedule changes and a changing priority environment. Must subscribe to strict ethical standards to protect client’s identity and privacy. SCOPE: Perform tasks as assigned by the Property Manager or Business Director. Maintenance Technician reports directly to and is supervised by the Property Manager. JOB DESCRIPTION: 1. Determine and assemble materials and tools for projects. Projects include “work requests” from Programs, site inspections and seasonal maintenance needs as assigned by Property Manager. 2. Responsible for repairs to household equipment. Including, but not limited to, lawn equipment, large appliances, and small appliances. 3. Responsible for maintenance on household structure and components. Including, but not limited to, painting, electrical, plumbing and heating systems. 4. Maintain record of work requested, scheduled and completed. 5. Responsible for resolving safety discrepancies. Report discrepancies immediately to Property Manager. 6. Responsible for lawn and landscaping maintenance. 7. Responsible for snow removal. Includes in-house and working with outside contractors. 8. Perform Agency vehicle inspections. 9. Responsible for carpet and furniture cleaning. 10. Responsible for assembly of furniture and equipment as required. 11. Assists in moving TSA property and clients from site to site. 12. On-call for maintenance emergencies during non business hours. 13. Must maintain hand tools required to perform common repairs. 14. Must maintain a valid NYS drivers license and drive agency vehicles. 15. Any other job related duties as assigned by Property Manager and Business Director. 16. Monday - Thursday 9 AM - 2 PM
