We are seeking a Premier Banker to work collaboratively with our customers to insure a positive impact on every customer and community we serve, and seek opportunities to meet the financial planning and investment needs of our customers. This position will lead customer experience excellence through sound holistic financial planning and services. This position reports to the Vice President, Retail Banking, and is primarily focused on driving revenues for the branch by engaging Loan, Deposit, Investment, and Insurance Growth. The ideal candidate will excel in generating activities to deepen customer relations with BSNB. This is a licensed platform position, with duties that include working with customers to uncover financial needs, Provide prompt, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to customers (anticipating the customers' needs and ways to assist in those needs) in person, as well as on the telephone to achieve personal and Branch sales goals. Demonstrate sales excellence in obtaining sales targets for Loans, Deposits, Investments, and Insurance on a monthly basis. Do what's best for the customer by identifying opportunities through sales conversations, engaging them in holistic planning of their short, intermediate, and long term goals and needs and present solutions designed to help customers achieve them. Maintain in good order all continuing education, appointments, and licenses. In addition, continuously strive to excel in applications, industry, and learning proficiency. Work with Relationship Manager and other BSNB staff to foster a culture of referrals and deepening of customer relationships. Manage and work leads from client lists and other resources to achieve personal and Branch sales goals. Routinely conduct outbound calls to customers or business leads to educate them and invite them in. Operate the branch in absence of the Relationship Manager. Qualifications: Valid NYS driver's license required. Notary License required. State resident Life and Health Insurance licensure required within 6 months in position. FINRA series 6 and 63 required within 6 months in position, series 7 required within one year in position. Associates degree in business or related field required; one to three years' experience in a sales and/or service-oriented position and prior cash handling experience required. Banking experience preferred. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills required. Ability to use computer to input and retrieve data required.
