   Summary To assist the branch manager to profitably, manage all retail lumber and building material sales, operations and staff in order to ensure positive growth and to carry out short and long term goals. Hire, train and supervise employees appropriately & effectively. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. •Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in related field/industry. •Language Ability: Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with individuals inside and outside of the company •Math Ability: Advanced math skills •Reasoning Ability: Effective independent decision making and problem solving skills. Must be able to analyze interpret financial reports and data. •Computer Skills: Proficient keyboard and computer skills including Microsoft office and other Company and discipline specific software applications •Certificates and License: Valid Drivers’ license acceptable to Curtis Lumber standards
