   Be a better YOU at BSNB! BSNB is seeking an experienced Vice President, Retail Banking to manage the sales initiatives of our Retail Banking Department. Reporting to the Chief Banking Officer, this individual will provide management of all retail deposit activities in support of the Bank's overall goals and strategic initiatives. Successful candidates will typically: Achieve budgeted goals for deposit and loan growth and generation of non-interest income while controlling retail banking expenses; Provide leadership in driving the overall sales performance of the branch network; Develop and implement branch marketing plans, specific to market area, demographic, and services; Develop and implement retail banking incentive plans and periodic sales campaigns/contests. Provide sales tracking to branch managers; Work directly with teams to drive growth in deposits and fee income while cross-selling the bank's other products and services; proactively identify and support referrals to other business lines that result in additional revenue to the bank; Drive utilization of CRM system to insure proper tracking of activities as well as identifying sales opportunities; Conduct regular retail meetings to review branch performance, services, sales, product knowledge, and customer relations. Assess and improve the level of individual and team performance through coaching; Provide meaningful recommendations and participation to the bank's pricing committee; Provide periodic results of bank performance objectives and goals, as well as individual coaching, feedback, and evaluation of branch managers; Develop and maintain a network in the community to enhance the bank's visibility and build a strong referral source for new potential business; Provide oversight, in coordination with BSNB's third party vendor, for Retail Investment services. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in retail banking, with a 4-year degree in Business, Finance or related field. Candidates must have a proven track record of prospecting new business and enhancing existing relationships. Candidates will have strong sales and relationship building skills coupled with strong staff development and coaching skills. Well-developed communication skills are a must. Demonstrated PC skills and membership in civic and professional organizations required.
