Complete Description of the Job.
   We’re recruiting for a Help Desk Analyst. This is a temp to hire role, which means that you'll have an opportunity to be hired on by our client. You’ll help support internal and external customers in troubleshooting primary and secondary issues,, walking through set steps to diagnose and/or refer customers to the next level of support. This position has the potential for temp to hire. Duties: Monitoring and troubleshooting of computer hardware, telcom, and networking support issues Following operational procedures, checklists, and policies Use tools to remotely diagnose issues on client equipment Report, escalate, and document issues as needed Install and update software on various hardware (laptops, smart phones, office phones, etc.) Monitors logical security through use of established tools and procedures. Work with end users on connection issues (wifi, LAN, telcom, server access) Assist with imaging and deploying systems, handling security patches, and other support functions for desktops, laptops, smart devices, A/V equipment and more. Conduct, day-end processing, system balancing, file system maintenance, change requests, report/file transfers and deliveries, messaging details, system locations/configurations, and internal/external customer requests. Follow up on, and escalate internal and external customer requests when appropriate Supports local testing policies and procedures Assist colleagues with various support needs (small and large scale) as needed Participate in ongoing professional and skill development opportunities Requirements: 2 or 4 year degree in computer science related discipline 1-2 years of experience in a desktop and or networking support role Able to navigate through Unix/Linux/AIX/VMS/DOS and perform basic commands Comprehensive knowledge of Office suite and PC operating systems Experience with handling customer service requests in person and remotely Ability to handle a varied workload of projects and assignments Webinar support experience preferred Effective listening skills, ability to organize and plan, attention to detail skills required. Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays, 12 hour shifts. Are you the right fit?
