Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB) is looking
to hire an enthusiastic Loan Servicing Intern
to work with residential and commercial
customers and learn about loans, loan
documentation, the loan approval process, and
what happens once a loan is approved. Do you

This is a paid internship, with full time
hours over the summer and school breaks, and
up to sixteen hours per week, working around
your school schedule, during the school year.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LOAN SERVICING INTERN
You will be working side by side with banking
professionals gaining an in depth exposure to
what go into collateralized lending products.
Expected contact will be with auto loans,
mobile home loans, personal loans and real
estate backed loans such as 30 year mortgages
and Home Equites. You will be participating
in the daily servicing needs of these loans
provided by the bank including: creating
correspondences with customers, reviewing and
understanding loan reports, gathering loan
files as requested, assist with on-boarding
new loans, utilization of our digital
archiving system as well as providing support
for professional staff by reviewing completed
work.
You will also be included in appropriate
level decision making meetings to see what
discussions and methods used for a financial
institution and their Loan Servicing teams.
You will spend time observing with other
departments such as Credit Administration,
Loan Processing and Collections to gain a
fully rounded picture of the daily processes
involved with one of the most well respected
financial institutions in the Capital Region.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LOAN SERVICING INTERN
Completion of sophomore or junior year of
college with a major in Business or related
field;
Customer service experience
Computer literacy and data entry skills
